Check-in is 4:00 PM. Early check-in isn't offered unless confirmed within 24 hours of arrival, so plan a lake-side lunch if you're early. Dave or Mandy meets you at the house for the walkthrough — the elevator, sound system, and sauna all come with instructions.
Checkout is 10:00 AM sharp; the cleaning crew arrives at ten. Pack the night before, and let the boats go back on Friday.

The owner, Dave Norris, has hosted here since 2017 and treats the place as a living project — guests describe the stonework, the rooftop "Cannon Bar," and the color-changing waterfall system at the entrance as things he built and keeps adding to. He greets every arrival in person.
It's been featured as a film location, and more than one guest swears the house shows up in The Accountant movies — one family watched both films in the great room "since this home is truly the star of the show." Treat it as lake lore until someone finds the credits.

Late September is the sweet spot on Lanier: summer's heat has broken, the lake is still warm, and the crowds are gone after Labor Day.
